Description: Did a blend a summer look and boho, I added the hat because I felt it contributes to both, complimented the top with an orange full set, green flats to compliment the darker green in the long jacket and complimented the accessories to the colors in the patter for bohemian feel(there are a lot of accessories but they can all be seen and go together) I added the body scale because there wasn't much shape/porportion to the body

I like this look but it really does not feel boho to me. The pattern of the jacket is really pretty but I think it's more ethnic (you have done a really great job of making some ethnic looks be boho in the past, just not really here) or 90's sweater pattern. The accessories here are the only thing saying boho, I feel. The purple and silver bracelets don't really match so well here for me. And although the necklace was needed and is the right length, the extreme 3d-ness of it on a flat 2d mesh is making it look tacky. I like the idea of a hat with this but not this particular hat, it's just a wicker texture pasted on.

I disagree. I like the vintage-ish/boho feel of this. Something doesn't have to be called boho in the product description and name to be boho. The only thing I would change is the necklace as it's weird and funky. It's blurry and badly made. I would have found another option. Great job otherwise!

Pause, so let me get this straight......you really just made that statement saying I've made 'Ethnic looks be boho" ethnic? really? why do some of you always seem to want to link everything I do to something as ethnic and stray it away from whatever I actually said it was? must be my use and love for my skin that brings those kind of comments and statements out because I never said that any of my looks were "ethnic" I did say in one of my first three boho submissions that I researched and realized that bohemian fashion wasn't much different from ethnic fashion but I never said that I was doing Ethnic and submitting them as boho, yes some or all depending on who you are may have ethnic appeal but that doesn't make flat out ethnic

And so yes, this particular outfit looks more ethnic to me than boho. Maybe I worded it wrong and should have said "In the past you have incorporated ethnic patterns and combined them correctly to be boho" But why do you think I'm saying ethnic like it's bad? It's not and a lot of your submission are beautiful, ethnic or not. My only point was this does not feel boho to me. I don't care if you mixed disco and boho. If the outfit looked more disco than boho I would vocalize that. And I never said it was flat out ethnic, I just said it was more ethnic than boho. A dark skin is not what makes something ethnic. I don't care what skin color you use either, I'm glad you use one you're comfortable with. The jacket made this feel ethnic for me, not the skin, note I never mentioned the skin????? Nor have I ever mentioned skin tones people use unless they extremely flawed a look. Yours have never done that. I feel it best that you should hold all commentary on critiques until after Gradebot to keep clutter off your own thread. There is also this re-occuring pattern where if you get something lower than A- you add a comment to try and argue. If you want to discuss this subject further please message me or Implex. Your thread is not a place to clutter with anything other than grades.

I honestly don't care if my thread turns into a 4 page letter, I don't care about getting anything lower than a A- what I care about is some of the stupidest, disrespectful, and rude, things and ways that some of you judges and non-judges put things, you didn't have to say the word skin at all, it sounds like it's implied, if you don't think it's boho that's cool no problem at all but when you bring up stuff putting it into parenthesis as a little side note talking about my "ethnic incorporation" from other submissions, then it sounds like a sneak diss; a low blow, as if all I'm capable of doing is ethnic or sometimes urban looks, iWhiteAngeI said "I just don't feel the Boho of this outfit." BAM plain and simple no problem that's all it takes and it's understandable, you didn't need to belittle what I'm doing by bringing all that other mess into a single submission, I respond when people on here say things that seem to have meaning behind it that they thought I didn't catch, I could care less about getting a low grade if it was legit and deserved, and not because of something stupid like skin which is my preference anyway or a naked lady on a necklace that looked like a shell on the screen that the look was constructed on....sometimes some of you give low grades on some of the simplest or stupidest things that it's not even funny, and then you write a critique that's worded so rudely then try to sugar coat it by saying "but I love the idea" or "but I see what you're trying to do" that even Simon Cowell would double take at it and be offended, then think that the stylist was over-reacting or making a big deal about it, so if there's a pattern with me and my responses to judges grades, there's someone else on the other side of that pattern like I said before for every action there's reaction so check to make sure you're not the cause of the reaction before making it look as if I'm just upset with a low grade

There shouldn't be any arguing period but there are people in this group that get mad when they don't get a grade that they like, it's been brought up to Brian and in judges meetings numerous times.

yes Chrissie I know and I'm pretty sure that I'm the main one that it was brought up about, but the reality of it is that some of you fail to see and choose not to see, is that "those people in the group" and those grades are the least of the problems that's all I'm going to say

However if iWhiteAngeI was first to comment on this I'm sure she would have said why she felt this wasn't boho. I only told you why I didn't see it as Boho so that when I gave you a B+ I wouldn't catch riff for not telling you why. I'm sorry if you felt belittled, that's never my intention. My critique was not harsh though. Harsh is me saying something like "This is not highfashion what were you thinking and that belt looks like you got it from a trashcan." that is harsh and I will never leave a comment like that. I try to be constructive on here so people see why I say what I've said and hopefully can walk away having seen it from my angle, if just a little.

That jacket just screams hipster to me. The jeans and the hat just make the whole outfit look more like a vintage piece.

then you should've said that to begin with, I don't need all of the side notes and stuff clearly I pay attention to things that people say and how they word it and I watch my words and what I say, we aren't verbally speaking here so it's easy for something to be seen a different way than it was put and be taken out of context which is why I don't do all of the extra stuff on the side I say what i mean i don't "lol smiley face" just so people know I'm being positive because I shouldn't have to, all i'm saying is some of you need to learn how to word your stuff and watch what you say because things will keep on going on and you can't blame that on us the stylists or because we got a low grade because most of the time that's not even the case
