I'm not so sure on the top. The shoes are also a tad dark and look textureless. The glasses feel a bit random too.

The nails should have matched the lips instead of the hair imo.

See when I think grunge I think the 90's so this outfit is a bit hard for me to wrap my head around.
I definitely agree about the shoes, not only does the texture of them seem lacking but, I think a unlaced army boot or something would have fit this theme better. The frayed sweater of the top can be considered grunge but the stocking guarders and it being all one color really isn't.

I would have done a flopping beanie and thrown in some classic plaid, ripped jeans, printed t-shirt, and leather that makes up the grunge look.
