I'd grade it as if there was no duplicate. It wouldn't be fair to do so because personally I wouldn't have submitted if I'd been aware of the same dress.. But then there's the fact that there is another outfit of the same kind.
Does this outfit just become declined and a try for a resub with an exception to allow the change of the main dress?
Or do we just not allow for a resub and the outfit stays declined?

She has only been active for the past week. It's not like she is going to go back to a post way back in November to see if there were similar clothing items back then.
You can't downgrade because they weren't familiar with another dress that is pretty much the same, that doesn't have a dup.
Sure it's the same dress, but a different size. It's happened before in the past where two different sizes of one dress are submitted.
Why downgrade for it?
There is the fact that some people would like to see the little bigger sizes of the clothing out there. Some people aren't going to click on the first outfit and search for the dress seeing if there are different sizes of it.

Last time this happened Callie told us to grade the outfit as if there was a duplicate. Brian has stated numerous times that similar outfits don't need to be on the website. There was an incident a while back where 3 of the same dress got uploaded in different sizes. The outfits are too similar, even if it is a different size.

The same thing happened in this submission. Same dress, different devs. This time it's the same dress and dev, but different sizes. Seeing as Callie will say the same thing on this one, I've already messaged her about it, unfortunately this will fail. If it were from a couple of years ago, then it would be different, but it's fairly recent. But I'm going to fail this because the same thing will be said. If there wasn't another one that was similar, then I'd pass it in a heartbeat.

I'm still going to grade this as is because
this is the first time this particular dress will have 2 on the website
and they are both fairly different imo; especially since Frightful took a turn
for using it as some sort of mysticalish thing, and you are using it for elegancy.
So those are 2 different perspectives. Plus, hers was submitted months ago.

Only complaint is the necklace, everything else I love.

I am grading this as is.
It's not her fault she didn't see the other size on the site, it was months ago.
If there is a duplicate, it shows up, so the submitter can fix it if they would like to.
So I see now reason as to treat this as a dup.
Not to mention, if we treat it as a dup, it is TOTALLY different from the other submission.
My only complaint is the hair.

I'm sorry guys, but Frightful is correct. The outfit, whether it doesn't look like the original or not- is indeed the SAME outfit, even in different size. If this were a two piece- it would be different, but since this is a one piece outfit (a dress), it would be considered too similar, even if the skin/head/hair/shoe/accessory combination are entirely different.
