I changed the skin color cause it had scars, changed the shoes into slimmer ones, added pearl studs, removed the clutch and changed the bracelet. I didn't add a necklace cause it seemed too much. I am aware there's a dup in the dress but it doesn't look like the same outfit.

This was already revamped in a previous revamped theme. In my opinion the looks are too similar for this one to pass. I'm not sure why you think they're different when they're almost exactly the same.

No they are not the same, the other outfit has different shoes, different accessories, different skin and even avatar. If you feel like this is the same as the other outfit (which it's not) then just decline it.

Sadly, I agree about these being similar. It's all black and the makeup is pretty similar, there's a pearl bracelet and earrings, and similar hair colors and skin tones were used. But good luck with other revamps!
If it's already been done, it'll probably be better to just avoid it unless you plan on taking it in a completely different direction...that's just harder to do with dresses like this, unfortunately.

Both looks have the same hairstyle, the same head, the same eyebrows, the same type of accessories. Different avatars and different shoes don't make an outfit look different. And please refrain from having an attitude when someone says something you don't like.
