The gloves might have also been better as a solid pvc that matched the shorts/outfit more. But as far as modern burlesque goes, I think this is pretty good. I might have also played up the hair a little more, but it could just be me.

I did not realize how awkward the 1950's were with their clothing. The pose is really awkward here, it messes with her proportions a little and covers most of her face. You did a really good job matching the reds though. I don't really think the hair was the best choice here, it's a little casual for burlesque. The shoes also weren't really the best choice either, this mesh is a little awkward and the boots don't really fit this look either. I agree with iMoo on the gloves as well. This isn't bad but it needs a little fine tuning.
